Section Manager Financial Accounting

Defining implementing and/or maintaining accounting policies guidelines tools and services for all VISHAY overseeing or advising on accounting activities in sub-ledgers (A/R or A/P accounting etc.)Ensuring preparing or contributing to preparation of periodic reportings i.e. (monthly) income p&l or tax or setting up new accounts reconciling accounts and closing the monthly bank accounts verifying deposits and addressing inquiries from payment of invoices and ensuring payments are charged to local tax operations according to regulations and clarifying issues with external accountantsA job at this levelEnsures adherence to overarching standards guidelines and assigned budgets. Monitors work in the team(s) with respect to current or near-future workload and monitor efficiency and effectiveness of effective utilization of infrastructure and may adapt methods or procedures when work results and discusses with responsible management or project lead further stakeholder contacts within own part of the value chain and with external market partners.
