Corporate Accountant

We are looking for a Corporate Accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge and prior experience in a Big 4 environment. You should be comfortable managing financial reporting responsibilities reviewing financial information supporting month-end processes and ensuring compliance with IFRS.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
• Assist with month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Support the preparation of financial statements management reports and other financial reporting requirements.
• Review general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounts are properly supported.
• Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to audit-related requests.
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls accounting standards and reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal finance teams and other stakeholders to resolve accounting-related concerns.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm is required.
• Strong working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience in corporate accounting financial reporting audit assurance or a
• similar finance role
