Senior Data Scientist II

The Senior Data Scientist II will play a key role within the Digital Factory, driving end-to-end data solutions from ingestion to insight delivery. This role focuses on building scalable data products on Databricks, ensuring RDO (Reliable Data Object) availability, and enabling business decisions through high-impact dashboard or excel report visualizations. The position requires strong technical expertise combined with business acumen to translate complex data into actionable insights. What will you do? Data Engineering & Platform (Databricks) Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) Build and optimize ETL processes for structured and unstructured data Ensure high-performance data processing and pipeline reliability Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to enforce data governance and best practices Implement CI/CD and version control for data workflows RDO (Reliable Data Object) Enablement Design and manage RDOs (curated, business-ready datasets) for enterprise consumption Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across business domains Define and enforce data contracts, lineage, and documentation Partner with stakeholders to standardize KPIs and business metrics Monitor data freshness, completeness, and SLA adherence Working closely with Data Owner and Expert Advanced Analytics & Data Science Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and build predictive or prescriptive models as needed Apply statistical techniques and machine learning where relevant to business use cases Translate business problems into analytical solutions Support exploration and testing frameworks. Knowledge in Dashboard & Visualization (RDO Consumption Layer) Prepare data from Databricks for dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, HTML or similar Ensure dashboards are powered by RDO-certified datasets to maintain a single source of truth Design user-friendly, intuitive visualizations for business users Optimize performance and refresh cycles of dashboards Key Relationships Business Finance Competency Center Leaders Business Process Experts Tableau Developers What are the key skills we are looking for?
