We are looking for an Environmental GIS Consultant. You will provide geospatial expertise and technical support to the Philippines Digital Solutions Team, with a focus on delivering environmental and sustainability solutions. The role involves applying GIS technologies, spatial data management, and geospatial analysis to support a broad range of environmental projects across multiple platforms, including Esri, Microsoft, and Safe Software technologies.
You will undertake and contribute to digital projects and in doing so you will demonstrate your ability in:
- Applying geospatial technologies and best practices using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME Form/Flow, and Esri applications to support environmental and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop technical knowledge across environmental disciplines and leverage GIS capabilities to address client and project requirements.
- Build a strong understanding of organizational processes, project delivery methodologies, and client business needs.
- Work effectively under the guidance of senior team members while progressively expanding technical and consulting capabilities.
- Participate in fieldwork, spatial data collection, environmental assessments, and technical report/proposal writing activities as required.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities by providing geospatial insights and supporting project communications.
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely completion of project deliverables and effective management of work priorities.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Geography, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Knowledge and experience in GIS operations using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME Form/Flow, and Esri applications
