About the Role
As our Senior Growth Marketing Manager, you'll own the entire marketing function—from strategy through execution—with a strong emphasis on lead generation, local SEO, paid advertising, website optimization, conversion rate optimization, and marketing automation.
You'll work closely with the leadership team to identify new opportunities, improve marketing performance, and build a predictable pipeline of qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute marketing strategies focused on generating qualified leads and increasing revenue.
- Build a scalable customer acquisition strategy that can be replicated across multiple towns and regions throughout Australia.
- Continuously optimize the marketing funnel to improve enquiry volume, lead quality, and conversion rates.
- Identify new growth opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
- Develop initiatives that contribute directly to business growth rather than vanity metrics.
Digital Marketing & Performance
- Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns with a focus on ROI and lead generation.
- Develop and execute Local SEO strategies to improve rankings across targeted geographic locations.
- Create and optimize suburb-specific and service-specific landing pages.
- Manage and continuously improve the company's WordPress website.
- Optimize Google Business Profile listings to strengthen local search visibility.
Website & Conversion Optimisation
- Improve website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Conduct A/B testing and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
- Analyze user behavior and recommend improvements that increase enquiries and customer acquisition.
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
- Track campaign performance using key business and marketing KPIs.
- Analyze lead quality, conversion rates, cost per lead (CPL), customer acquisition costs, and return on investment (ROI).
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Make data-driven decisions to continuously improve marketing performance.
Marketing Automation & AI
- Implement marketing automation to improve efficiency and lead nurturing.
- Utilize AI tools, including ChatGPT, to streamline marketing workflows and content development.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks.
Market Expansion
- Research competitors and identify opportunities to expand into new towns, regions, and service markets.
- Recommend new strategies to strengthen brand awareness and market penetration.
Collaboration
- Partner closely with leadership to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve customer acquisition and overall business performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in senior digital marketing, growth marketing, or performance marketing.
- Demonstrated success generating qualified leads and delivering measurable business growth.
- Strong experience developing marketing strategies for trade, construction, home-service, or service-based businesses.
- Proven experience with Local SEO, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, and conversion-focused marketing.
- Advanced WordPress website management skills.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition funnels, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and marketing analytics.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and marketing reporting tools.
- Experience implementing CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Highly Preferred
- Experience supporting Australian businesses or international clients.
- Experience generating local leads for trade, arborist, landscaping, construction, electrical, plumbing, roofing, pest control, or other home-service businesses.
- Experience scaling lead generation campaigns across multiple geographic locations.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, or similar systems.
- Experience using AI tools to improve marketing productivity and campaign performance.
