Corporate Accountant

We are looking for a Corporate Accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge and prior experience in a Big 4 environment. You should be comfortable managing financial reporting responsibilities, reviewing financial information, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring compliance with IFRS. Tasks & Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with IFRS and company policies. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial reporting requirements. Review general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounts are properly supported. Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to audit-related requests. Help ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and reporting deadlines. Collaborate with internal finance teams and other stakeholders to resolve accounting-related concerns. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as required. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm is required. Strong working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, audit, assurance, or a similar finance role
