Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Club Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fitness club. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving membership sales, leading and developing the club team, ensuring exceptional member experience, and achieving operational and financial targets.

This role is ideal for an experienced leader with a strong background in sales, operations, and people management who can inspire a team and deliver measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

• Lead the club in achieving monthly and annual membership sales and revenue targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new memberships and improve member retention.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to improve club performance.
• Build partnerships with local businesses and organizations to increase brand awareness and membership opportunities.

Operations Management

• Oversee the daily operations of the fitness club to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and staff.
• Ensure all operational policies, health and safety standards, and company procedures are consistently followed.
• Manage club budgets, inventory, and operational expenses.

People Management

• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise club staff.
• Foster a positive, high-performance culture through regular coaching and performance management.
• Conduct staff meetings and performance reviews.
• Create work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.

Member Experience

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive member experience.
• Resolve member concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Promote member engagement through club activities, events, and fitness programs.

Reporting and Performance

• Prepare and submit operational, sales, and financial reports.
• Analyze business performance and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
• Present previous accomplishments and measurable results during the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Sports Management, or any related field.
• At least three (3) years of experience in:
  • People Management
  • Operations Management
  • Sales Management
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and operational targets.
• Applicants should be able to clearly discuss and provide examples of their previous achievements, including measurable business results and leadership accomplishments.
• Experience in the fitness, hospitality, retail, or service industry is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic business reporting tools.
