The Alumni Relations manager is responsible for coordination of alumni-related events. Establishment of partnerships, marketing of AIM and graduating students, career opportunities

Education

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent (or in any field) and a Master’s in Business Administration
  • Minimum experience

  • 4 years of experience in Account Management, Digital Marketing and Data Analytics. Must have valuable experience in Team Management, Events and Project Management, Business Development and Customer Service
  • Business Understanding

  • Marketing, Event and Project Management, Career Advising, Stakeholder Management and Customer Service
  • Execute an overall communication strategy and tone for alumni and donors of all levels. This includes identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of constituents.
  • Develop communications collaterals; Coordinate the integration of milestones into ongoing digital and printed materials
  • Conceptualize and develop materials for MyAIMConnect, the AIMLeader, LinkedIn, FB, and other AIM publications, as needed. Maintain regular communication with alumni via direct contact, email blasts, alumni portal, AIMLeader & other social media.
  • Develop campaigns such as directmail appeals, online giving, and face-to-face solicitations with specific strategies for first-time gifts as well as major gifts, renewals and constituency segmentations.
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy to generate goodwill among alumni, e.g bday greetings, work promotions, important national holidays, etc.
  • Establish and build relationships with a wide range of alumni, both locally and internationally.
  • Coordinate with Admissions to spearhead the introduction of alumni involvement in the admissions process; Coordinate with Career Services to plan the growth and accessibility of career networking services for students and alumni
  • Assess potential and develop an appropriate plan for the integration of international alumni and for linkages with the Institute
  • Develop and execute events with the goal of recognizing outstanding alumni and their achievements towards building up the AIM brand and encouraging alumni support and donations. (i.e. Chapter Networking)
  • Communicate internally to AIM community ARO’s plans, strategies and activities. Engage other departments in co-op activities, projects, events, etc that promote relationships between alumni and AIM.
  • Execute an overall alumni affinity plan that projects AIM in the best light among alumni to promote and rekindle positive connection to the school.
