Senior Drainage/Hydraulic Engineer

Position Overview

Seeking an experiencedSenior Drainage/Hydraulic Engineerto lead the design and implementation of complex drainage and hydraulic systems. Licensed Civil Engineer with 10 years of progressive experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design drainage systems stormwater management solutions and hydraulic infrastructure
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis (HEC-RAS SWMM InfoWorks)
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on projects
• Manage project schedules budgets and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and design standards
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work
• Prepare technical reports specifications and construction drawings
• Coordinate with clients agencies and contractors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degreein Civil Engineering
• Current PE Licensein Civil Engineering
• 10 yearsas a Licensed Civil Engineer
• 10 yearsas a Drainage/Hydraulic Engineer
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software and CAD/BIM tools
• Strong knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Civil Engineering
• 15 years of total experience
• Experience with sustainable drainage systems (SuDS/LID)
• 2D/3D modeling software (HEC-2D TUFLOW)
• GIS and data analysis experience
• Team management experience
