GECO Asia is Hiring: Data Tester

📍 Hybrid Setup | Full-Time | ASAP Starter

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Tester with experience in SQL, Python, and test automation to support data validation, quality assurance, and testing activities across enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test cases for data validation and quality assurance.
  • Write SQL queries to validate data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Utilize Python and automation tools to improve testing efficiency.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document data defects and issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders during testing cycles.
  • Support production validation and root cause analysis activities.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in Data Testing, QA, or related roles.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks or tools.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data validation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
