Senior Multidiscipline Inspector

Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical
Employment Type: Project-Based

Responsibilities

• Perform third-party inspection and verification activities across multiple disciplines including Welding Process Piping Mechanical Equipment Painting Coating Wrapping Hydrotesting and Advanced NDT.
• Review and assess welding NDT coating and mechanical inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
• Evaluate NDT procedures and inspection methodologies.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) quality procedures method statements and inspection reports.
• Review site queries Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) concession requests and corrective actions.
• Witness inspections testing commissioning and quality verification activities.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Electrical Welding or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in onshore and offshore Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
• Extensive experience in third-party inspection and verification activities covering:
  • Welding
  • Process Piping
  • Mechanical Equipment
  • Painting & Coating
  • Wrapping Systems
  • Hydrotesting
  • Advanced NDT Methods
• Strong experience in reviewing and approving multidisciplinary ITPs procedures site queries NCRs and concession requests.
• Ability to assess and evaluate NDT procedures and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards applicable to Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.

Certifications

• CSWIP 3.2 AWS Senior CWI AWS CWI or ERS Welding Inspector Certification.
• PCN Level II certification is highly desirable.
• BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 1 certification required.
• Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.

Preferred Experience

• EPC refinery petrochemical LNG offshore and major pipeline projects.
• Experience working with international inspection agencies clients and certification bodies.
