Position Overview

Bureau Veritas seeks an experiencedSenior Geodetic Engineerto lead geodetic surveying and positioning projects across infrastructure and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee geodetic surveys GPS/GNSS operations and control networks
• Lead survey teams and manage complex multi-disciplinary projects
• Ensure compliance with geodetic standards (ISO 19100 series)
• Prepare technical reports and project deliverables
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as primary client contact
• Advise on geodetic methodologies and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degreein Geodesy Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Licensed Geodetic Engineer (PE/PLS)or equivalent
• Minimum 10 yearsof professional geodetic engineering experience
• Proficiency with survey equipment (GPS/GNSS total stations laser scanning)
• Strong knowledge of coordinate systems datums and spatial reference frameworks
• Experience with geodetic software (Trimble Leica ArcGIS)
• Excellent project management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• LiDAR and photogrammetry experience
• Infrastructure or construction surveying background
• BIM workflow familiarity
• International project experience
