Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and certifiedPCN UT (Ultrasonic Testing) Technicianto join our inspection and quality assurance team. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects in the Oil & Gas sector ensuring equipment integrity and safety compliance through advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasonic testing (UT) magnetic particle testing (MPT) penetrant testing (PT) and other NDT inspections on piping pipelines and equipment in Oil & Gas facilities
• Select and apply appropriate inspection methods based on material geometry and regulatory requirements
• Accurately interpret inspection indications and defects according to relevant standards and technical procedures
• Document findings and generate comprehensive inspection reports
• Maintain strict adherence to technical procedures safety protocols and industry standards
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Education

• Minimum:Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Certifications & Training

• PCN UT Level 2certification (minimum 3 years post-certification experience)
• ASNT Level 2certification in:
  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)
  • Penetrant Testing (PT)
• PCN Certificates 3.1 & 3.2

Experience

• Minimum 3 yearspost-certification experience in PCN UT Level 2
• Minimum 23 yearspost-certification experience in ASNT Level 2 (MPT & PT)
• 5 years overallexperience in non-destructive testing including:
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)
  • Penetrant Testing (PT)
  • Phased Array Multi-Element Inspection (PMI)
  • Hardness Testing (HT)
• Proven experience inspectingpiping pipelines and equipmentin Oil & Gas environments
