BI / Visualization Engineer

Location: Makati City (Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday to Friday Shift

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of interactive business intelligence dashboards and visualization tools to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable business strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting requirements, optimize data models, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable insights that drive informed decision-making across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy robust BI dashboards and data visualizations using platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models to support reporting requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements and raw datasets into intuitive, user-friendly visual insights for stakeholders.
• Audit and validate data accuracy to ensure a single source of truth across all dashboards and business reports.
• Troubleshoot visualization bugs, optimize dashboard performance, and continuously improve report loading times.
• Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to align reporting metrics with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BI Engineer, Visualization Specialist, Data Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and writing clean SQL queries.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and handling large-scale datasets.
• Sharp analytical thinking with a strong eye for design, layout, and visual data storytelling.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical data insights to non-technical business partners.
