Your Role:
As an IT Support, you will:
- Monitor and manage the IT support queue to ensure support requests are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Coordinate the procurement of IT hardware by raising purchase orders and liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain and update the IT asset management system, ensuring all hardware assets are accurately recorded and tracked.
- Review and code invoices related to IT hardware and services, ensuring accuracy and correct allocation to business functions.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive knowledge base articles and documentation to support IT operations and end-users.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to understand IT requirements and deliver effective support solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, asset updates, and invoice processing.
- Generate regular reports on IT support performance, procurement status, and asset management activities for management review.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely communication and technical support to end-users.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance IT support processes and documentation.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Experience supporting IT service desk or IT support operations in a corporate environment.
- Experience with IT asset management and hardware procurement processes.
- Strong working knowledge of IT hardware, software, and end-user support.
- Excellent documentation skills, including experience creating and maintaining knowledge base articles.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Experience using asset management, procurement, or IT service management (ITSM) systems.
- Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong attention to detail with experience reviewing and processing invoices.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Previous experience supporting enterprise IT environments and working within a collaborative IT team.
