Job descriptionThe Role: Business Analyst II You will work with cross-functional teams to own, define, interpret data, create reports, and suggest improvements that will measure success and drive day-to-day business behavior. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, be skilled in data visualization tools, and possess a deep understanding of key performance metrics. What will you do? Data Visualization: Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards in Tableau to track KPIs and operational metrics. Business Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to capture reporting requirements. Data Preparation/Processing: Clean, blend, and structure raw data from multiple data sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, etc.). Data Analysis: Identify trends, root causes, and anomalies in data, including data validation and data quality checks. Work through issue resolution and provide actionable insights to support business decisions and strategies through data visualizations. Documentation: Develop and uphold best practices related to change management, documentation, and data protocols. Fulfill standard data requests, including gathering business requirements, data validation, data quality reporting, data cleanup, and facilitating data process improvements. Build and/or maintain dashboards and data visualizations in support of business needs. What qualifications will make you successful? Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related technical field. Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract data. Hands-on experience building dashboards using Tableau is an advantage Proficiency in BI platforms (Tableau and similar tools) and advanced Excel skills, including VBA, Pivot Tables, Array Functions, and Power Pivot. Ability to analyze large-scale datasets. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve issues independently. Analytical, detail-oriented, and meticulous in approach. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
