About the Role

Job Title: Store Manager
Reports to: Operation Manager
Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule
Work Location: Sulbing Korean Dessert - MOA

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate, results-driven, and customer-focused Store Manager to lead the pioneer team of Sulbing Korean Dessert at SM Mall of Asia (Pioneer Store). The Store Manager will oversee the overall operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer experience, operational efficiency, food quality, and team performance. This role is responsible for driving sales, maintaining brand standards, developing team members, and ensuring profitability while fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.

As part of the pioneer team, you will play a key role in establishing the store's culture, implementing operational excellence, and contributing to the successful launch and long-term success of the brand.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and store presentation.
  • Monitor equipment, facilities, and maintenance requirements to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Implement and uphold Sulbing's operational and customer service standards.

Sales and Business Performance

  • Drive sales growth by achieving revenue, profitability, and operational targets.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and prepare operational reports.
  • Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Support and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.

People Management

  • Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop store team members.
  • Prepare staff schedules to ensure efficient manpower utilization.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor standards, and workplace safety.

Inventory and Cost Control

  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.
  • Monitor food cost, labor cost, and controllable expenses.
  • Minimize product waste and inventory variances through proper inventory management.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of inventory and operational records.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring fast, friendly, and efficient service.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Build customer loyalty by maintaining consistent product quality and service excellence.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Prepare operational reports, sales summaries, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, deposits, and financial reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with support departments regarding operational requirements and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Store Manager, Restaurant Manager, or in a similar leadership role within the food and beverage or retail industry.
  • Experience managing cafés, dessert shops, quick-service restaurants, or casual dining establishments is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Can start immediately is an advantage.
