Finance Business Analyst

Location: BGC Taguig (Hybrid Work Setup)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Business Analyst to support finance operations through data analysis financial reporting process improvement and business partnering. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive informed business decisions enhance financial performance and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports dashboards and performance metrics for management.
• Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and recommend solutions.
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Develop business cases financial models and profitability analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes through automation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems and reports.
• Support implementation and enhancement of finance systems reporting tools and process documentation.
• Participate in projects related to finance transformation digitalization and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Business Analysis Financial Reporting Controlling or Finance Operations.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Oracle or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI Tableau or other data visualization tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in shared services multinational companies or the energy industry is an advantage.
