Category Lead - Supplements

The ideal candidate is a Registered Pharmacistwith strong commercial acumen and proven experience in category, product, or brand management within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies that drive sales growth, improve margins, and increase market share.

• Evaluate category performance, industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify business opportunities.

• Manage the product assortment by maintaining an optimal mix of SKUs that meets customer needs and market demand.

• Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from sourcing and introduction to phase-out and discontinuation.

• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support new product development, launches, and category enhancements.

• Ensure all products meet applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards, including FDA compliance.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and distributors.

• Negotiate pricing, commercial agreements, and promotional support to maximize category performance.

• Track supplier performance, ensuring timely deliveries and consistent product availability.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with a valid professional license.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related healthcare discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in category management, product management, brand management, or merchandising within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, Retail or FMCG industries.

• Strong knowledge of vitamins, dietary supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) products, and relevant Philippine FDA regulations.

• Previous experience in retail pharmacy, drugstore operations, or healthcare distribution is an advantage.
