As part of an expanding finance team, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations while helping strengthen and scale back-office functions in the Philippines. This is a full-time onsite position based in Metro Manila, working closely with both local and international stakeholders.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Accountant to support daily finance operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure accounting processes run smoothly across the business.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, payroll support, compliance activities, and month-end processes. You'll work extensively within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and collaborate with stakeholders across different areas of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of transactional accounting, ERP-driven processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities

• Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

• Support payroll-related accounting activities

• Assist with month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations

• Maintain data integrity across accounting systems

ERP & Systems

• Work extensively within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Process transactions, reconciliations, and reports within the ERP environment

• Support process improvements and workflow efficiencies

• Assist with system-related finance initiatives and enhancements

Compliance & Reporting

• Assist with BAS and GST preparation and supporting schedules

• Ensure accounting records are maintained in line with business requirements

• Support financial reporting and compliance activities

• Prepare documentation for internal and external review

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with operations and business teams to support financial activities

• Monitor transactions, collections, and payment processes

• Participate in regular team meetings and provide progress updates

• Build effective relationships with local and offshore stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Experience in end-to-end accounting functions, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting

• Experience using ERP systems

• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required

• Experience in Australian accounting environments

• Experience with BAS and GST requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

• Experience working in product-based, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, or distribution businesses

• Experience working across multiple business systems and platforms
