Content Designer

Udacity is seeking a Designer who is responsible for creating engaging visuals for our classroom and marketing content. This begins with a script. Design are prepared by a visual instructional designer and designers are then assigned based on business priorities and deadlines. The Lead Designer is responsible for reviewing all visuals to ensure everything meets our Brand and accessibility guidelines. These review ensure quality standards are upheld all while adhering to project goals and deadlines.
What you'll do
Create designs for animation with Adobe Illustrator.
Follow storyboards, production scripts & style guides.
Utilize AI-generated tools to create images when needed.
Receive & incorporate feedback frequently.
Follow the teams' standard file organization system.
Communicate daily with your project team via Slack & email.
Receive direction from lead designers, producers & content developers.
What we value
Minimum 2 years Adobe Illustrator design experience
A track record of working successfully remotely
Experience with fast-paced production cycles
A good eye for layout & typography
Access to Adobe Creative Cloud
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years Experience with character design
3+ years Experience with After Effects animation
3+ years Experience with 3D
Experience with Figma
1+ years Experience with Runway, Dalle, or any of the built-in AI tools

Work Schedule: Varies each week depending on projects. Expectation is no more than 30 hours a week.
