📍 Location: Medina, Misamis Oriental

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor who will lead our quality assurance operations, ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support the production of world-class coconut products.

This role is responsible for supervising quality assurance activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold product quality and operational excellence. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience in quality systems within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with established quality standards and food safety requirements.
• Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
• Conduct investigations on product quality issues, non-conformances, customer complaints, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor quality performance indicators and analyze trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections while ensuring audit readiness.
• Review and approve quality records, reports, procedures, and documentation to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and quality improvement projects to minimize defects and enhance process capability.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Quality Assurance personnel to strengthen technical competencies and leadership capabilities.
• Promote a culture of quality, food safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biology, or other related science courses.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Food Safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP, HACCP, Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience in conducting internal audits, root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement methodologies, and process improvement with the ability to drive operational excellence and quality enhancement initiatives.
• Familiarity with laboratory operations, quality testing, statistical analysis, and quality performance metrics is an advantage.
• Experience in the coconut processing or coconut manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quality documentation systems.
• Willing to work in a plant-based environment in Medina, Misamis Oriental.
