EHS Officer

Knowles Electronics (Philippines) Corporation is seeking an experienced EHS Officer to lead environmental compliance initiatives and support occupational health and safety programs. The role is responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, driving ISO management systems, conducting risk assessments, leading incident investigations, and promoting a safe and sustainable workplace. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering; PRC license preferred. At least 5 years of solid experience in Environmental and OSH Management. Well-versed in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 , including documentation, implementation, and internal auditing. Must be an EMB-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) for at least 3 years. Preferably a DOLE-accredited OSH Practitioner. Certified Auditor/Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is an advantage. Radiation Safety Officer certification is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Key Responsibilities Lead environmental, health, and safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Manage environmental aspects and risk assessments, including EAID and HIRADC activities. Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. Conduct EHS inspections, audits, training programs, and awareness activities. Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and emergency preparedness activities. Coordinate with government agencies such as DENR-EMB, DOLE, PEZA, PDEA, and other regulatory bodies. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (OHSMS). Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills. High integrity, collaborative mindset, and ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
