Remarkablism Services Corp. is seeking an analytical and process-driven Inventory Planning & Business Process Analyst to support a U.S.-based distributor of premium stone, tile, and architectural building materials.

This role goes beyond traditional inventory planning. You'll work closely with experienced leadership to learn a complex business with unique inventory challenges—including international sourcing, varying supplier lead times, product-specific constraints, and nuanced planning decisions. Your goal will be to transform that knowledge into repeatable, scalable processes that improve inventory planning, support smarter purchasing decisions, and help optimize cash flow while maintaining exceptional product availability.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex business problems, asking thoughtful questions, and continuously improving processes through data, technology, and AI. Over time, this individual will become a subject matter expert in the company's inventory planning methodology and a trusted partner to leadership.

Essential Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory, purchasing, sales, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop recommendations that improve inventory performance.
• Learn and document the company's inventory planning methodology, including business rules, operational constraints, and industry-specific considerations, to create scalable and repeatable processes.
• Partner with leadership to translate complex operational knowledge into practical planning tools, documentation, and decision-making frameworks.
• Utilize ERP systems, Excel, reporting tools, and AI to improve inventory planning, purchasing decisions, and operational efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements that enhance inventory availability, reduce excess inventory, improve cash flow, and support long-term business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Management, or a closely related analytical discipline. Degrees in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics will also be considered when accompanied by strong analytical and operational experience.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in inventory planning, supply planning, purchasing analysis, operations analysis, business analytics, or a similar analytical role involving complex business decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience making inventory planning, replenishment, purchasing, or operational recommendations based on data analysis—not simply preparing reports or maintaining inventory records.
• Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems, with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to transform business data into actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex business operations, document processes, and continuously improve workflows through critical thinking and problem-solving. Experience creating SOPs, training others, or leading process improvements is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with inventory planning concepts such as lead times, safety stock, reorder points, inventory turns, forecasting, or similar inventory performance metrics is preferred.
• Experience leveraging AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms) to improve productivity, research, or business analysis is a plus.
• Must be able to work night-shift hours and report onsite at our Davao office.
