Maintenance Manager (Mindanao)

A leading building materials manufacturer is seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Manager to direct and integrate facility engineering operations. This role is responsible for overseeing multi-disciplinary repair, electrical, instrumentation, and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability, ensure operational continuity, and drive cost-effective plant performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the plant engineering section to ensure all technical activities align with long-term operational targets.
• Implement modern industrial reliability frameworks, technical procedures, and equipment execution standards across all operational units.
• Drive proactive and corrective engineering initiatives to enhance machinery availability and minimize unscheduled downtime.
• Oversee departmental operating expenses, maintenance budgets, critical spare parts inventory, and major equipment upgrade investments.
• Evaluate machinery performance metrics and process diagnostics to identify root causes and implement continuous reliability improvements.
• Partner cross-functionally with crushing, quality control, processing, and production teams to execute shutdown schedules and overhaul projects smoothly.
• Direct external service providers, manage contractor risks, and execute cost-efficiency initiatives to support overall business profitability targets.
• Mentor, train, and manage maintenance personnel through performance evaluations, skill development, and employee engagement strategies.
• Enforce uncompromising compliance with occupational health, environmental regulations, and site safety protocols across all maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related courses.
• Must be a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy manufacturing or mineral processing operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Deep technical expertise in heavy industrial equipment servicing, systematic overhaul planning, and continuous processing plant operations.
• Proven track record in financial management, maintenance planning, and leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
