Digital & Transformation Director

About the Role

We are seeking a senior transformation leader to establish and lead the Firm's Digital & Transformation Group (DTG) and drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This strategic leadership role will shape the Firm's future through AI, automation, analytics, and digital technologies, delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, risk management, employee experience, and client value.

Reporting directly to the Digital & Transformation Committee, the DTG Lead will serve as the Firm's principal authority on transformation, AI, innovation, and business change. The role requires a visionary yet execution-focused leader who can bridge business and technology, influence senior stakeholders, and convert ideas into measurable outcomes.

Important: This is not an IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration role. The position focuses on business transformation, innovation, AI adoption, and strategic change leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Digital & Transformation Leadership

• Develop and maintain the Firm's Digital & Transformation Roadmap.
• Lead enterprise-wide transformation, process redesign, digitalization, and automation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve business processes.
• Align transformation initiatives with strategic business objectives.
• Promote innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

AI & Emerging Technology Leadership

• Develop and execute the Firm's AI strategy and roadmap.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled, automation, analytics, and digital solutions.
• Lead GenAI, intelligent automation, and innovation initiatives.
• Establish AI governance standards and responsible AI practices.
• Monitor emerging technologies and assess business impact.

Portfolio & Program Management

• Manage the Firm's Digital & Transformation portfolio.
• Prioritize initiatives, develop business cases, and recommend investments.
• Oversee project execution, budgets, resources, timelines, and benefits realization.
• Monitor performance, risks, and outcomes and report to leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

• Partner with business leaders to identify transformation opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Partners and senior leadership.
• Drive organizational change, technology adoption, and capability building.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and transformation awareness.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with transformation governance frameworks.
• Monitor technology, cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI-related risks.
• Support responsible, secure, and ethical use of AI.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing Digital & Transformation Group.
• Develop team capabilities, performance standards, and future leaders.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and execution excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Engage with Partners, division heads, and process owners to identify and prioritize opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design activities.
• Review business cases, project plans, and transformation roadmaps.
• Monitor initiative progress and address risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Evaluate AI, automation, and emerging technology solutions.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and recommendations for leadership.
• Track KPIs, portfolio performance, and benefits realization.
• Serve as the Firm's primary point of contact for Digital & Transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, MIS, Accounting, or related field.

Preferred:

• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business, Technology Management, Digital Transformation, AI, Analytics, or related discipline.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience leading enterprise transformation, business transformation, operational excellence, consulting, or strategic change initiatives.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-wide transformation, innovation, or technology-enabled programs.
• Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience preparing business cases, executive presentations, and transformation roadmaps.
• Exposure to AI, automation, analytics, or emerging technologies is highly preferred.
