National Sales Manager (NSM) – Ethical Pharma
is responsible for leading the entire pharmaceutical field force nationwide, driving prescription demand, achieving sales targets, managing Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), District Managers (DMs), and Medical Representatives (MRs), while ensuring compliance with ethical promotion standards and FDA/PhAP regulations. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute national sales strategies. Drive achievement of revenue, market share, and prescription growth targets. Lead and coach Regional Sales Managers, District Managers, and Medical Representatives. Monitor sales force effectiveness (SFE), CRM utilization, and field productivity. Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams. Manage forecasting, territory alignment, incentive programs, and budgets. Ensure compliance with ethical pharmaceutical promotion guidelines. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field. MBA is an advantage. 8–15 years of pharmaceutical sales experience. At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role managing nationwide teams. Strong background in ethical pharma, HCP engagement, and prescription generation. Experience handling large field forces and multiple regions.
