Were looking for a talented Developer to join our growing team in Makati City this role youll work alongside experienced engineers and business analysts in a collaborative agile environment where innovation and quality are paramount. • Collaborate closely with team leads product owners business analysts and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Design and develop scalable maintainable code that adheres to best practices and architectural standards
• Write comprehensive solution designs for new features and participate in code reviews with technical leads
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and system reliability
• Participate in client workshops and requirements analysis sessions to understand business needs
• Optimize and improve existing functionalities to enhance performance and user experience
• Take ownership of assigned projects and demonstrate accountability for your area of expertise
• Work effectively within an agile framework utilizing ticketing platforms and collaborative tools
• Document code and technical solutions clearly for team knowledge sharing
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge with team members

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in software development or a related engineering role
• Strong programming knowledge with proficiency in one or more languages (Java Python C or similar)
• Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL
• Experience with version control systems (Git or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to write clean well-documented code and design thoughtful solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to complex technical challenges
• Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in team settings
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality assurance and testing practices

It would be a real bonus if you have

• University degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in the financial services industry or treasury domain
• Knowledge of industry-specific standards such as FIX protocol SWIFT MT or ISO 20022
• Familiarity with specialized platforms or tools relevant to your domain
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
• Proficiency in additional programming languages or frameworks
• Multilingual capabilities (additional languages are a plus)
• Track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope
