Your Role As a Data Scientist, you are responsible for: Data Strategy & Architecture Develop and maintain scalable data models and structures. Support the evolution toward a modern data stack and unified reporting framework. Forecasting & Predictive Modelling Own forecasting capability across consignments, weight, cube, and volumes. Maintain and enhance existing models (Holt-Winters) and support progression toward machine learning models. Ensure forecasting outputs are accurate, reliable, and continuously improved. Reporting & Dashboarding Develop and maintain dashboards (e.g., Power BI) across key business areas. Standardise reporting outputs and eliminate duplication or inconsistency. Deliver insights on key metrics such as fleet performance, DIFOT, utilisation, lane, and customer performance. Data Quality & Governance Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems. Identify gaps in datasets and work with the business to improve data capture. Business Insights & Decision Support Translate data into actionable insights for leadership and operational teams. Support strategic initiatives through data-led recommendations. Collaboration

Improvement Work closely with the Business Analyst to deliver data requirements for projects. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Translate complex data into clear and compelling narratives that inform operational and strategic decision-making. Identify trends, patterns, and root causes to uncover actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and deliver tailored reporting solutions. Design and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Recommend enhancements to reporting frameworks and data processes. Ensure data integrity and contribute to data governance initiatives.

Qualifications: Preferably with 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, data strategy & architecture, cost modelling, and reporting. Knowledgeable in Cloud applications, DataBricks, Snowflake. Practical experience with forecasting techniques and statistical models. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data querying (SQL, R, Python, or similar). Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting roles. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
