A Day in the Life

This role forms part of Medtronics future-state Credit Services operating model and leads teams working within AI-enabled workflows combining customer engagement operational governance exception management digital adoption process improvement and workforce development to achieve service cash-flow and customer-experience objectives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

• Analyze customer creditworthiness and establish appropriate credit limits.
• Balance sales growth with effective credit risk management.
• Negotiate credit terms payment plans and special arrangements with customers.
• Advise customers on financial controls and working capital solutions.
• Develop collection and credit restriction strategies for high-risk accounts.
• Manage delinquent slow-paying and sensitive customer accounts.
• Collect outstanding receivables in accordance with agreed payment terms.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelors degree required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in credit collections finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of team leadership or people management experience.
• Understanding of workload prioritization scheduling coaching and process execution.
• Broad knowledge of credit collections and operational best practices.
• Proficiency in AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot GPT-based solutions and Stuut.
