Senior.Net Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior .Net Developer to join our IT team and develop innovative software solutions that support strategic business objectives. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, cloud platforms, API development, and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

• Ensure overall solution design quality and adherence to software development best practices.

• Make key system design and integration decisions and communicate implementation approaches to development teams.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to identify system requirements, priorities, and technical solutions.

• Manage system enhancements and ensure solutions align with business and technical objectives.

• Translate business and technical requirements into detailed solution designs.

• Work closely with project teams to deliver new application capabilities and resolve system issues.

• Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, and development timelines.

• Analyze the feasibility, cost, timing, and compatibility of proposed solutions.

• Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements are met.

• Develop and support web services, APIs, and cloud-based applications.

• Perform manual and automated unit testing to validate solutions.

• Participate throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and identify root causes of performance and functional problems.

• Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, software development processes, and solution delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience using .NET technologies.

• Strong knowledge of .NET concepts including Multi-threading, Generics, Serialization, and Thread Pools.

• Extensive experience developing and consuming Web Services and Web APIs using SOAP, REST, WSDL, SOAP UI, and related technologies.

• Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms for Web APIs.

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing .NET applications and APIs in Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.

• Experience using GitHub Actions for CI/CD deployments to Azure App Services and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).

• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and performance-optimized T-SQL development.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and React JS.

• Experience building responsive web applications with cross-browser compatibility.

• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.

• Experience using Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code (VS Code).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance software development and productivity.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and business-critical situations.

• Experience with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, Kafka, or similar technologies is an advantage.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Azure Application Insights is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare or insurance industries is an advantage.

• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when required to support critical business needs.
