Fire Sprinkler Fabrication & Coordination Engineer Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fabrication & Coordination Engineer to support the design, fabrication planning, and coordination of fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience creating shop drawings and fabrication plans , with the ability to coordinate sprinkler systems with other trades, including HVAC, structural, and building services. Experience working with 3D laser scans / point cloud data is a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Create detailed shop drawings for fire sprinkler systems Develop accurate fabrication drawings and plans Coordinate fire sprinkler layouts with other trades, including: HVAC Structural systems Electrical and other building services Review drawings and identify potential clashes or installation issues Make necessary adjustments to sprinkler layouts to ensure proper coordination Work from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings Assist with fabrication and installation requirements Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed, and suitable for fabrication and field installation Collaborate with project teams to resolve design and coordination issues Work within established company standards, processes, and project deadlines Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in fire sprinkler design, fabrication, and coordination Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and installation requirements Experience producing shop drawings and fabrication plans Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple trades Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines Required Software AutoSPRINK – Essential / Must Have Autodesk ReCap – Advantage Experience working with 3D scans, point clouds, or 3D coordination is highly desirable. Working Hours Preferred: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST Alternative working hours may be considered for the right candidate, provided there is sufficient overlap with the team's operating hours.
