Job Summary

We are seeking a Beauty Merchandising Manager to oversee the end-to-end merchandising activities of the Beauty business. This role will ensure that the business maintains a competitive and commercially relevant product assortment while maximizing sales, margins, inventory productivity, and customer demand.

The position requires strong knowledge of Beauty products and retail merchandising, as well as the ability to translate market and consumer insights into effective merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall merchandising strategy for the Beauty portfolio.
• Plan and maintain product assortments based on customer demand, sales performance, market trends, and commercial objectives.
• Manage SKU selection, product launches, assortment changes, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Analyze category and SKU performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock cover, sell-through, and aging inventory.
• Recommend replenishment, markdown, and assortment adjustment strategies.
• Work closely with suppliers, brand principals, and internal Buying teams to ensure product availability.
• Evaluate new Beauty brands, products, and market opportunities.
• Monitor competitor assortment, pricing, promotions, and product launches.
• Partner with Marketing to align merchandising plans with campaigns and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure timely product availability and execution.
• Prepare regular merchandising reports, forecasts, and business performance reviews.
• Manage and develop the merchandising team.
• Establish and monitor merchandising KPIs to ensure achievement of business targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within Beauty Retail.
• Minimum of 2 years in a managerial or team leadership capacity.
• Experience handling Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Haircare, Fragrance, or Personal Care categories is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail merchandising and category management.
• Experience in assortment planning, SKU management, inventory optimization, and promotional planning.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP, merchandising, or retail systems.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized and results-oriented.
