External Audit Assistant Manager Work Details Location: Makati City Work Arrangement: On-site Schedule: Monday to Friday International Account Exposure: Yes CPA: Not required Job Summary We are seeking an experienced External Audit Assistant Manager to join our growing Audit team. The role is ideal for an audit professional with at least 4 years of external audit experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility in engagement management, team supervision, and client coordination. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on international accounts , providing valuable exposure to global clients, audit standards, and engagement practices. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning through completion. Review audit working papers and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards. Handle complex and high-risk audit areas and provide guidance to audit team members. Supervise, coach, and develop junior and senior audit associates. Review financial statements, audit findings, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Identify audit risks, control deficiencies, and potential financial reporting issues. Coordinate with clients and engagement teams to obtain audit requirements and resolve outstanding issues. Monitor engagement timelines, deliverables, and team performance to ensure timely completion of audits. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to managers, partners, and clients. Support engagements involving international clients , with opportunities for increased exposure to international accounting and auditing practices. Maintain high standards of audit quality, professional skepticism, and client service. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of external audit experience. Experience in an accounting or professional services firm is preferred. CPA and non-CPA candidates are welcome to apply. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing principles. International audit experience is an advantage but not required. Willingness and potential to handle international accounts . Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
