Team Lead, Financial Planning & Analytics

POSITION TITLE: LEAD – FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYTICS
REPORTING TO: Manager, Finance
LOCATION: Cebu, Philippines
Summary Description:
Working with an emerging shared services organization, the Financial Planning & Analytics Lead is responsible for overseeing the FP&A processes related to expense budgeting and analysis as well as consolidated P&L. He/she is also tasked to implement automated quality control checks in files and perform detailed review of deliverables. This role reports to the Manager. This position is based in Cebu, Philippines.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Builds and loads for non-compensation and non-operating expense budgets and forecasts
• Monthly and quarterly reporting P&L and/or expense presentations.
• Global headcount reporting (by-location, by-line of business, by-division, etc.)
• Responsible for expense builds related to company-wide legal entity budgeting and forecasting.
• Support divisional and consolidated expense actual/budget/forecast variance analysis during the monthly/quarterly close process.
• Develop new reporting or analysis to provide insightful information to business and finance management.
• Recommend improvements/enhancements to current processes and reporting.
• Participate in special projects as assigned by Finance management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field preferred
• Minimum three (3) + years’ Financial Planning & Analysis experience or related
o 1+ years in a shared services model preferred
o 1+ years supervisory experience
• Prior forecasting and reporting experience is a must
• Good English communication skills, both oral and written
• Exposure to multidimensional reporting applications (Hyperion Planning and Essbase a plus)
• Experience managing data in large ERP systems, Oracle preferred
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (Ex: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts and Graphs etc.)
• Lean training a plus
• Demonstrated proficiency managing data in Microsoft Office (SharePoint)

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment

• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
