Your Role:

As a T&E Expense Report Auditor, you will:

• Audit high-volume employee T&E claims to ensure accurate itemized receipts, GL coding, tax calculations, and policy compliance.
• Reconcile corporate credit card feeds against submitted expenses to detect irregular spending, duplicate billings, or personal use.
• Serve as the primary point of contact to guide employees and managers on T&E policies, reimbursement status, and expense system usage.
• Maintain audit logs, track T&E performance KPIs (such as audit cycle time and violation trends), and support audit readiness.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, AP, HR, and IT to resolve processing bottlenecks and drive process improvements.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of T&E expense audit experience in an accounting role, preferably in a multi-regional and multi-currency organization.
• Proven experience reconciling corporate card feeds and detecting non-compliant spending or policy violations.
• Ability to work under a monthly accounting close schedule and meet service level agreement (SLA) deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service-oriented approach to internal stakeholder support.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience working within a Shared Services Center (SSC) environment handling global operations.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and functions).
• Fluency in the Spanish language (spoken and written).
• Continuous improvement mindset to streamline audit workflows, increase efficiency, and strengthen controls.
