Vice President – Real Assets, Fund Accounting

A leading global provider of fund administration and asset servicing solutions is looking for an experienced Vice President to lead its Real Assets Fund Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, capital activity, and partner allocations.
• Review financial statements, working papers, fees, and fund-related calculations.
• Lead client relationships, meetings, and accounting-related inquiries.
• Manage external audits and ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support clients on fund-related matters.
• Oversee new fund implementations, transitions, and service planning.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team while monitoring performance and service quality.
• Manage resources, budgets, and operational targets.
• Identify process improvements and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Work closely with senior management, clients, and property management partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification required.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, asset management, or fund administration.
• 6+ years of people management/supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with real estate and private equity fund accounting.
• Knowledge of fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt instruments.
• Strong financial statement and general ledger review experience.
• Experience with Yardi, MRI, Investran, or similar fund accounting systems is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
