Bookkeeper & Collections

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage daily bookkeeping, e-commerce payment reconciliation, customer accounts, and collections. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks Online experience. Experience with Cin7 is a plus, but training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, invoices, and payments.
• Perform bank and financial account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor Shopify and Amazon billing and payments, verify receipts, reconcile transactions, and post payments correctly.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and payment tracking.
• Review customer accounts and ensure balances are accurate.
• Assist with financial reports and other bookkeeping tasks.

Collections & Accounts Receivable

• Monitor outstanding invoices and overdue customer accounts.
• Follow up with customers by phone and email regarding unpaid balances.
• Make professional collection calls and request payment.
• Answer billing questions and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications.
• Consistently follow up on outstanding accounts until resolved.
• Escalate long-overdue or difficult accounts when necessary.

Software

• QuickBooks Online – Required
• Cin7 – Training provided
• Experience with Shopify and Amazon payment reconciliation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable, and collections.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
• Understanding of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and customer accounts.
• Experience handling customer collections and overdue payments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Confident and professional when communicating with customers about payments.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable learning new software and following established processes.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable remote-work environment.
• Available to work consistently during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
