Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Oversee the AP process and support in running the process during periods of high
workload
Verify, classify, and record accounts payable transactions from (from main mailbox to Xero entities, then ensure accurate entry in Xero and submission to Approvalmax).
Enter invoices in expected month (based on Closing timelines sent by CCA team)
Reconcile accounts payable ledger and vendor statements, ensuring all bills and
payments are properly recorded.
Investigate and identify discrepancies
Add new suppliers where needed and let CCA team know for check and adding bank
details
Generate and maintain reports on accounts payable status.
Ensure proper allocation of expenses across accounts and cost centres.

Payroll
Ability to backup the payroll manager in processing monthly payroll and ad hoc runs in XERO.
Manage superannuation processing, fund registers, and resolve bounce backs.
Maintain accurate payroll records by collecting, calculating, and entering employee data
Determine and record payroll liabilities (leave provisions, redundancies, workers’
compensation, etc.).
Resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
Support preparation of staff contracts and ensure employee records remain current.
Manage onboarding and offboarding payroll requirements in collaboration with corporate and local teams.
Assist with Workers’ Compensation, PAYG, FBT, and payroll tax returns.

Accounting / Closing
Revenue reconciliation (reports being drawn from our billing system, direct control). Map
these reports to Xero account lines (type of revenue) and raise the invoice in Xero to
match total revenue (done workday 2-3)
Bank reconciliation (payments applied to invoices)
Intercompany reconciliation (we use MAYDAY to check and balance this)
Petty cash reconciliation.

Ad-hoc / Project Work
Assist the Finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and project work.
Contribute to the integration of systems and process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Strong English skills
Strong Excel skills
Experience in high-volume accounts payable and payroll
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience with XERO payroll and financial systems
