Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Head Coach to lead our Personal Training (PT) team at Anytime Fitness. The Head Coach will be responsible for developing and managing the PT team, driving personal training sales and client engagement, and ensuring the team consistently delivers an exceptional member experience.

This role is ideal for a fitness professional who is passionate about coaching, leadership, and sales, and who can lead by example by achieving their own personal targets while helping the entire team succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, coach, and motivate the Personal Training team to achieve individual and club performance targets.
• Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback to PTs.
• Develop the skills, knowledge, and sales capabilities of the PT team through ongoing mentoring and training.
• Foster a high-performance, positive, and collaborative team culture.
• Monitor PT schedules, productivity, client engagement, and overall performance.

Sales & Business Development

• Drive Personal Training sales by setting and implementing effective sales strategies for the PT team.
• Lead by example by consistently achieving personal PT sales and performance targets.
• Coach PTs on lead generation, consultations, closing techniques, client retention, and upselling.
• Identify opportunities to increase PT penetration, client conversion, and revenue within the club.
• Track key sales and performance metrics and take appropriate action to improve results.
• Collaborate with the Club Management team to support overall club revenue and membership objectives.

Personal Training & Member Experience

• Maintain an active personal training client base and achieve individual PT sales and session targets.
• Conduct fitness assessments, consultations, and personal training sessions as required.
• Ensure clients receive safe, effective, and engaging training programs tailored to their goals.
• Build strong relationships with members to improve client satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, service, and coaching quality.

Operations & Standards

• Ensure all PTs follow club policies, training standards, and best practices.
• Monitor PT floor presence, member engagement, and overall coaching standards.
• Support club events, promotions, fitness challenges, and other initiatives designed to increase member engagement and PT sales.
• Prepare and communicate regular performance updates and action plans to Club Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Coach, or similar role.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
• Strong track record in Personal Training sales and achieving performance targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of fitness, training principles, client management, and sales.
• Highly motivated, target-driven, and accountable.
• Ability to coach and develop other trainers while maintaining strong individual performance.
• Professional, energetic, and passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals.
• Relevant fitness certification is required.
