Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Management System Senior Manager to oversee the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of restaurant management systems supporting stores and commissaries.

This role will focus on ensuring that RMS platforms effectively support restaurant operations, inventory management, reporting, controls, and business processes. The Senior Manager will lead system projects, process improvements, system governance, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the overall performance and functionality of the Restaurant Management System.
• Lead system enhancements, configuration, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Translate business and operational requirements into effective RMS solutions and system improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Commissary teams to identify system and process requirements.
• Ensure RMS processes support accurate inventory management, stock movement, reconciliation, reporting, and operational controls.
• Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and process standardization.
• Lead system implementation projects, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and store rollouts.
• Develop and maintain system policies, procedures, process documentation, user guides, and governance standards.
• Monitor system performance, operational data, and key performance indicators to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and reports to provide management with actionable operational and system insights.
• Lead user acceptance testing, system validation, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors to resolve system issues and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
• Drive user adoption through training, communication, and change management activities.
• Manage and develop the Restaurant Management Systems team.
• Ensure effective system controls and compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and operational standards.
• Prepare regular reports and recommendations for management regarding system performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience in restaurant management systems, ERP, POS, inventory systems, operations technology, or business process improvement.
• At least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong experience with restaurant management systems, inventory management systems, POS, ERP, or related operational platforms.
• Experience handling system implementation, integration, testing, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, inventory processes, and multi-site operational environments.
• Experience in the restaurant, QSR, food service, retail, or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing vendors and external technology partners is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/analytics tools is an advantage.
