Hardware Support Engineer

The Hardware Support Engineers provide hands-on technical support for all physical IT assets, including computers, servers, and peripherals. They handle installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance while maintaining accurate asset records and warranty information.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals
• Diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions
• Manage asset inventory, warranties, and replacement cycles
• Support hardware upgrades and imaging of new equipment
• Collaborate with procurement for hardware acquisitions
• Maintain hardware performance logs and ensure adherence to standards
• Provide on-site technical assistance for end users and field devices
• Create and maintain FAQ and Knowledgebase articles for the Support Services Engineer

Job Requirements:

• 1 year of experience with hardware diagnostics, repairs and imaging
• Inventory tracking and warranty management
• End-user support and documentation

Recommended Training & Certifications:

• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Server+ or Network+
• ITIL Foundation
• OEM Certifications (Dell, Lenovo, HP, etc.)
