Your Role:

As a Google Ads Manager, you will:

• Build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Performance Max, Display, and Local Services Ads) targeting new patient inquiries across Turnwell's 6 brands and 22 clinics, covering general behavioral health services and each specialty service line (IOP, TMS, Spravato).

• Own day-to-day bid management, budget pacing, keyword strategy, and negative keyword lists across all active campaigns.

• Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to align paid search strategy, budget allocation, and campaign calendar with overall digital marketing priorities, SEO, and content initiatives.

• Design and execute A/B tests on landing pages — headlines, calls-to-action, forms, and page layout — to improve conversion rate from click to inquiry.

• Build and maintain conversion tracking, call tracking, and attribution across Google Ads, GA4, and the CRM to produce accurate cost-per-lead and cost-per-admission reporting by service line.

• Monitor Quality Score, CPC, CPL, and CAC by campaign and service line; reallocate budget toward the highest-performing campaigns and ad groups.

• Develop ad copy and creative briefs in coordination with content and creative resources, ensuring all messaging complies with Google's healthcare and mental health advertiser certification requirements and HIPAA.

• Manage account structure and audience segmentation (in-market, remarketing, custom intent) tailored to each specialty service line.

• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations for marketing and clinical operations leadership.

• Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, healthcare advertising policy changes, and the competitive landscape in behavioral health marketing.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• 3+ years managing Google Ads campaigns, ideally in healthcare, behavioral health, or another regulated lead-generation industry.

• Google Ads certification (Search and Display) required.

• Demonstrated track record of managing paid search budgets and reducing cost per acquisition.

• Experience with structured A/B testing methodology and landing page optimization tools (e.g., Unbounce, Instapage, or equivalent).

• Working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and call tracking platforms (e.g., CallRail or equivalent).

Preferred skills/expertise

• Google Analytics (GA4) certification preferred.

• Familiarity with HIPAA and Google's healthcare advertiser policies strongly preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and present clear performance reports to non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent collaboration skills; able to work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and clinical operations stakeholders.
