Accountant - General Ledge and Tax

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant – General Ledger and Tax to support our Finance team in managing daily accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls in a fast-paced corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and file tax returns (BIR, PEZA, SEC) accurately and on time Handle VAT, EWT, income tax, DST, and regulatory reporting Maintain GL balances and perform reconciliations Support month-end closing and financial reporting Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures Other Responsibilities Support internal and external audit requirements Assist in ad hoc reports and financial analysis Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA required At least 3 years of tax-related experience Strong knowledge of BIR, PEZA, and SEC regulations Proficient in Excel and accounting systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines Strong written and verbal English communication skills What we offer At Knowles Electronics (Philippines) Corporation, we provide a supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
