Job Summary

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to support the evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will conduct financial analysis, build financial models, perform market research, assist in due diligence, and help monitor portfolio performance. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals on transactions, strategic initiatives, and value creation projects across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and develop financial models to assess investment opportunities.
• Perform industry, market, and competitor research to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Assist in sourcing potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and industry intelligence.
• Support due diligence activities, including financial, commercial, legal, operational, and ESG assessments.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, financial reports, and materials for internal investment discussions.
• Monitor the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies and provide insights for decision-making.
• Support strategic initiatives such as business expansion, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and operational improvement projects.
• Assist in valuation analysis and portfolio exit planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Stay updated on macroeconomic developments, industry trends, and market conditions that may impact investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in preparing investment presentations, reports, and financial analyses.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), transaction advisory, due diligence, or investment analysis.
• Knowledge of valuation methodologies such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
• Exposure to portfolio management, strategic planning, or corporate development is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ESG considerations in investment analysis is a plus.
