Medical Admin Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking detail-oriented Medical Assistants to join our fast-growing med-legal vertical as Independent Contractors. In this role, you will support client campaign assignments by reviewing, summarizing, and organizing medical records, ensuring strict adherence to healthcare compliance standards. You will work in-office with standard operational support from our global team, with opportunities to be matched to assignments that best fit your specific experience and strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Record Management: Review, organize, and summarize complex medical charts, treatment plans, and physician notes for legal and compliance review.
• Documentation & Charting: Accurately translate clinical data into structured campaign reports using accurate medical terminology.
• HIPAA Compliance: Maintain strict data privacy, security, and confidentiality protocols for all Patient Health Information (PHI).
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with operations leads and clients to clarify documentation discrepancies and meet campaign delivery timelines.
• Campaign Matching: Adapt to tailored tasks within the med-legal framework based on initial performance and background evaluation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Scribe, or similar healthcare documentation role.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong command of medical terminology, anatomy, diagnostic codes, and chart structure.
• Compliance: Solid understanding of HIPAA rules and standard data privacy practices.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for drafting precise summaries.
• Contractor Readiness: Ability to work independently as a full-time contractor with strong time-management skills.
