Club Manager Davao

General Summary

The Club Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Associates degree and equivalent industry experience required. Bachelors degree preferred.
2. At least three years of experience in the Fitness Industry with at least one year as a Club Manager highly preferred.
3. Excellent leadership and management skills.
4. Excellent sales customer service and interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to prioritize tasks delegating when appropriate.
8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
9. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
10. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To be successful in this role you should demonstrate good powers of observation and be able to identify weaknesses before they become problematic.
• Collaborates with Line Manager to set performance standards. Standards may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance with internal local and policies procedures and regulations.
• Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs.
• Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.
• You are also expected to be proactive hungry to learn and be respectful in all your dealings with staff prospects guests and members.
• You should be able to network and build lasting professional relationships with guests and members while constantly looking for ways to increase monthly sign-ups.
• Your responsibilities include working with a broad client base and a capable team member.
• You should be able to work under pressure and answer several questions from staff and members in a polite and courteous manner.
• Driving increased membership is another important aspect of your job as well as meeting monthly sales goals for membership and must be able to develop strong marketing plans to increase membership numbers.
• You will be expected to undertake those duties as required for the successful completion of your job.
