Community Relations Officer

Primary Function

This position is primarily responsible to act and function as the champion of the corporate social responsibility of the organization.

Broad Functions

A. CSR Projects

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Secure donations through fundraising events or tapping donors/funders.
• Lead strategies in raising awareness on the initiatives and programs of the foundation.
• Spearhead various foundation projects or initiatives, i.e., Adopt-a-school, Brigada Eskwela, Disaster Response activities, etc.
• Identify shortlisted students from the pool of the partner schools.
• Conduct interview and evaluation of the shortlisted students based on the set criteria.
• Conduct monthly Kamustahan and Bayani Scholar engagement activities.

B. Sponsorship

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Secure donations and sponsorship through advertisement and promotion of the foundation to the BGC locators and businesses, and fundraising activities.
• Ensure to reach the targeted amount of donations to support the foundation’s projects, initiatives, and programs.
• Organize CSR network forum every two (2) years to introduce the team and present line-up programs for the following years.
• Conduct, maintain, create relationships and engage with donors and partners.
• Craft business plans for sustainability.

C. Administrative

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with all documentary requirements related to accreditation or as required by accrediting agency.
• Process the reaccreditation of PCNC and DSWD every three (3) years.
• Ensure on time and accurate releasing of scholars’ allowances.

D. Others

• Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Graduate of a four-year bachelor’s degree. Preferably with a social science, social works, or development background.

Experience Requirement

• At least six (6) months’ working experience relevant to the position.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer Literate, Proficient in MS Applications.
