Financial Risk Management Department Sr. Management Trainee

The Senior Management Trainee – Financial Risk Management will support the Financial Risk Management Department in managing the company’s insurance, claims, contracts, fixed assets, and risk-related processes. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to financial risk management and develop the trainee’s capabilities for future leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review claims investigation reports, findings, and recommendations, and monitor the progress and resolution of claims cases.
• Coordinate and follow up on insurance claims, ensuring timely action and proper documentation.
• Monitor insurance policies and ensure timely renewals while considering cost-effectiveness and adequate coverage.
• Assist in establishing and implementing procedures for the effective monitoring, control, and management of company fixed assets.
• Ensure compliance with Financial Risk Management policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Review contracts and agreements to identify potential risks and ensure the company’s interests are adequately protected.
• Conduct analysis and provide recommendations related to asset management, utilization, and risk mitigation.
• Assist in identifying potential financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate measures to minimize exposure.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on matters related to insurance, claims, contracts, and asset management.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibilities aligned with departmental objectives.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other organizational units to achieve department and company goals.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of company information, records, and other sensitive business data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in contract management, insurance, claims, risk management, asset management, or a related field.
• Customer management or stakeholder coordination experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with people across different organizational units.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in Financial Risk Management.
