Employee Relations Officer

The Employee Relations Officer is responsible for effectively implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving employee and labor relations strategies that foster a positive work environment and maintain a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Wellness and Recreation

1. Conceptualize and propose guidelines on employee activities that will promote good health, fun and family working atmosphere to include but not limited to holding of: a. Monthly Birthday Parties b. Sports Festival c. Outing d. Christmas Party e. Blood Letting f. Seminars on health and safety, livelihood, etc.
2. Set up and work with employee representatives to get the feel/ideas/comments of the departments their represent; and to steer them into a working committee that will assist in the holding of the event.
3. Lead in the holding of approved activity to include: a. Theme and Program Approval b. Venue c. Food d. Transportation, e. Others as may be needed 4. Solicit feedback on the event and incorporate learning on future activities.

Implementation of the Employee Code of Conduct

1. Conduct store visits and employee consultations to check compliance on the Code of Conduct as well as enforcement of the disciplinary actions and sanctions.
2. Provide employees expert advise on issues concerning: a. Interpretation of the Employee Code of Conduct b. Implementation of Progressive Discipline Procedure c. Offenses d. Appropriate sanctions
3. Conduct investigations on cases brought up to HR.
4. Collect and 201 filing of DA documents for effective enforcement of the progressive discipline procedure
5. Conduct training related to managing employee conduct, performance and dispute resolution

Labor Relations

1. Prepare helpful studies and review proposals related to CBA as guided by the superior.
2. Represent the company on court hearings for 3rd party claims and other legal cases in coordination with the company lawyers.
3. Monitor the implementation of the CBA
4. Provide management perspective during meeting with unions concerning CPR.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Business Law, Psychology, or any Business Course. Post Graduate studies a plus
• At least 3 years experience in similar field, with 3 years in similar capacity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
